What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

This policy explains what personal information Route 20 Powersports LLC collects on route20powersports.com, how we use and share it, and how to reach us about it. Route 20 Powersports LLC, 43661 Oberlin Elyria Rd, Oberlin, OH 44074.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and what you bought. Your card or other payment details go to our payment processor through Shopify. We don't see or store your full card number.
When you contact us: anything you tell us by phone, text, email or a form, such as your name, number, vehicle and what you need.
When you book service or ask about an electric bike: your contact details and the vehicle or bike you ask about. For an electric bike we also keep your receipt and deposit record.
When you browse: basic technical data such as your device and browser type, IP address, the pages you view, and the page that sent you here.
My Garage: the vehicles you save are stored in your own browser, on your device. We use the year, make and model you pick to find parts that fit. It isn't tied to your name unless you tell us.

Cookies and similar tools

Our store runs on Shopify. Shopify and our site use cookies and similar tools to keep your cart, keep you signed in, process checkout, protect against fraud and count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the cart, checkout and My Garage may not work properly.

Analytics

We use the store platform's built-in analytics, and similar tools we may add later, to understand how people use our site and to report on traffic and sales. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to measure things like which pages and parts are viewed, how people find us, how long visits last, the type of device and browser used, and what orders are placed. We use this to fix problems and improve the site. We don't use analytics to identify you by name.

You can limit analytics by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, or by using your browser's privacy features or an opt-out tool it offers. Some browsers also send a "Do Not Track" or similar signal. Blocking analytics won't stop you from using the site.

How we use your information

To take, ship and support your orders, and handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
To schedule and carry out service, and to answer your questions.
To send order and service updates, and to reply to messages you send us. If we send marketing emails, you can opt out with the unsubscribe link.
To keep our site working and secure, and to see which pages and parts people use so we can improve them.
To keep records we need for taxes, accounting and legal reasons.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share only what is needed, with:

Shopify and our payment processors, to run the store and take payment.
Our parts distributors and shippers, who need your name, address and order details to ship parts to you.
Tools and service providers that help us run the business, such as email and customer record tools.
Government, courts or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or others from fraud or harm.
A buyer, if Route 20 Powersports LLC is ever sold or merged. They would handle your information under promises like these.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you, handle returns and warranty, and meet tax and legal record rules. After that we delete it or remove what identifies you.

Text messages

Route 20 does not currently send marketing or automated text messages. If we start, we will ask for your clear consent first, tell you how to opt out, and update these policies before we do. If you text us a normal message, we use it only to reply to you.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. We will do what we reasonably can. We may need to keep some records, such as orders and receipts, for legal reasons.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link.
You can control cookies in your browser.

To make a request, email admin@route20powersports.com or call 440-774-1101. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we don't give your information to the wrong person.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we rely on Shopify's secure checkout for payments. No website or system is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security. If a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you as Ohio law requires.

Children

This site is for adults. You must be 18 or older to buy. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

Links on our site may lead to other websites. They have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version on this page is the current one. If we make a big change in how we use your information, we will post a notice on the site.
